Shipping - Quantity Based
Quantity based shipping allows you to setup a quantity trigger and a rate for that trigger. If a users total cart items adds up to that trigger or greater, then the associated rate will be applied. For example: a quantity trigger of 5 means the customer must enter 5 items to their shopping cart, and at that point, the trigger rate will be applied. You essentially create a trigger rate or range and then the rate will apply at that point if the customers order falls in that range.
Creating Trigger Rates
Trigger rates are those values that the cart quantity total will cross and trigger the shipping rate. If the trigger is set at 0.00, then any order with a cart quantity greater than 0 will trigger that rate. Then you could enter a trigger of 5, and a rate of 4.99. Any order that crosses that contains 5 or more items in their cart will get the rate of 4.99 so on and so forth.
